Sadly, it looks as if this will never happen. Sure, the cards are indeed seeded one per case, but instead of pulling a beautiful butterfly you'll be looking at this:

What a shame. Redemptions. Not only that, but you have no idea which Horse or Bug or Landmark you've pulled until you redeem the card, assuming it will even show you then. It simply says "Entomology Bug Cards". There are 31 different cards in the Entomology set. We can only hope that at least some of the physical cards made it in to the boxes, and they are not all redemptions. Unfortunately, so far everything that has shown up is a redemption.

More curious is why the horse hair is not intended for children under the age of 12!
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately, due to the design of these cards, I doubt that any of them were packed out. I think that they'd be way too tough to cherry pick and it would probably lead to a lot of damage. I think this is one card that I'd much rather get as a redemption as long as the cards are sitting there and ready to go right when redeemed.
ReplyDeleteYeah, I agree with Offy. If UD can get them sent out in a matter of weeks, say... 3 or 4, then having these as redemptions is ok by me.
ReplyDeleteThink about how thick they're going to have to be to hold an insect.
That is a total bummer. I hope the redemptions are quick because each of my two boxes is going to have on of these!
